guys...um....it shouldnt matter what model the dervish really is. they are wearing robes most of the time. the only time it would have any effect is when they are naked which happens only in naked dance parties...

If Nightfall's preview had delivered solidly on any one of these three points it would have been a must-buy for me, while as it is, I'm going to wait and see.

As you said it yourself, those are the things that you want, not need. While they may be nice to have for sure, they're not essential to the game.

Ok,So you want AnEt to offer different models off the online store?
Think of it this way:
Has the same modle problem stopped yuo from creating new Characters? Will you pay to buy a new modle, then remake the character ebcause you bought the new model?
And its not just the model that has to change, they ahve to remake all the armour for it.
I don't think that The cost it takes to change all that, and the amount of people who will buy the new models is enough to balaence. - And its not just the cost its the time it takes just to change that is time spentnot working on something else.
Face it - it won't happen.
The least that WILL happen i them implementing new models in the next chapters.

Remember Nightfall was orginal not going to have new characters. Also i could care less if they have the same emote, or what ever their the same. I want to have fun with new classes and not compaire them to eather other so i can bitch and moan about something that is very stuped. Those who have modeling know that its not easy and that their artest are working on other stuff, like the content and everything else. If you don't want to see the reused models, then just don't make the new classes.

What is essential to the game? I don't consider two more classes essential. In fact, I'd prefer if they didn't introduce new classes and instead focused on expanding the roles of existing classes.
I don't consider new skills essential, though it's nice. A hero system isn't essential, nor are new areas, items, and so on. The only thing I even consider remotely essential are trade improvements, but even in that respect people survive without it.
